Seacoast Care Collaborative
The Seacoast Care Collaborative is a part of Maine Seacoast Mission’s Island Health program in partnership with MCD Global Health. The Collaborative helps islanders connect to telehealth by providing kits they can use in their own home. These kits help break down barriers to access by enabling patients to connect with different health systems and providers using simple telehealth tools.
Island residents can request a backpack which includes a laptop/iPad and tools providers use in examinations. The backpack kit allows islanders to conduct telehealth appointments from the comfort of their own homes.
