Mission Navigators
Sometimes, a fresh perspective can be the most helpful thing. Maine Seacoast Mission Resource Navigators provide support to people when a need arises, highlighting available resources such as emergency transportation and child care options, heating assistance programs, and more. These trained Mission Navigators work side-by-side with community members to help them to identify their own strengths, abilities, assets, and social networks.
Good Neighbor Fund
The Good Neighbor Fund provides financial assistance to help EdGE families stabilize, sustain or improve their households in ways that will have a positive impact on their lives.
The Fund accepts applications for resources including housing, transportation, medical or dental care, safety items, and or work and education. It can be used to help cover a mortgage payment or rent, purchase a new appliance, repair a car or cover an uninsured medical expense.
The Good Neighbor Fund helps dozens of families each year. The fund has distributed more than $50,000 since 2019.
