Visit Sunbeam this Summer!
Open Houses
From May to September in 2025, Maine Seacoast Mission’s 74-foot flagship vessel Sunbeam will host six open houses in various ports along coastal Maine. Maine residents and visitors can tour Sunbeam and learn more about the Mission’s work in coastal Washington County and on outer, unbridged islands.
Walk Aboard Sunbeam: A Guided, Dockside Visit of Maine Seacoast Mission’s Iconic Boat
Learn more about the Mission’s history, and its work in Washington County and on outer islands, during weekly guided dockside visits aboard the iconic 74-foot Sunbeam. Tours take place every Friday at 1 p.m. this summer (from July 13 to September 19) while the Sunbeam is at her homeport of Northeast Harbor.
Sunbeam Award Gala
The Sunbeam Award Gala recognizes those who embody the ideals of community. The award is given to recipients who have made a positive impact on the community, through philanthropy or community building.
