What Fifty-Six Housing Rehab Volunteers Can Do in a Week

All 56 volunteers, plus families whose homes were upgraded, celebrate dinner at Cherryfield School.

CHERRYFIELD, ME — From Maine Seacoast Mission’s Downeast Campus in Cherryfield, ME, Housing Rehabilitation Program Manager Scott Shaw sends five new photos and a back story of more good news.

“We had a big week with the Housing Rehabilitation Program,” writes Manager Scott Shaw. “For some very appreciative homeowners, forty-three volunteers from Ohio and thirteen volunteers from South Portland roofed three homes, built two sets of stairs, installed windows and doors, and started skirting a trailer. Maine Seacoast Mission volunteers get ‘er done!”
