The Maine Seacoast Mission has been a trusted friend along the Maine coast for more than 100 years.

We have always have been committed to our work for the long haul, and island and coastal residents know they can rely on us. While our presence is steady, we are responsive to the needs of individuals and communities, and our programs adapt to meet changing conditions.

We are deeply attentive to those we serve and are guided by their input and participation. We believe in the capacity of individuals and communities to determine their own futures. The Maine Seacoast Mission was founded by two Congregational ministers, but receiving the Mission’s services has never been dependent on someone’s beliefs or church membership. We honor a spiritual center that values wholeness and respect of persons and communities, and we do our work with a shared passion based on our various personal and religious beliefs.
